You are asking...why would you cut down such a beautiful birch? Believe me, it was very hard for us to let her go. However the tree was very, very close to the house. With the high Kansas winds and the roots causing cracks in the foundation, we had to do it. It does make out house look different.
Trimming up high first.
Completely down.
Now our house looks a little barren. But we plan on landscaping this fall and next spring...can't wait!
