On April 4th our Heat Basketball team celebrated our accomplishments as a team and as individuals. As a team we finished in 2nd place. As individuals we gave out Awards that did not have anything to do with scoring. One of the major lessons Coach Mike and myself stressed is that as a player you can have a great basketball game without scoring. A little over half way during the season the boys started to trust us. And in a couple of close games we played great TEAM basketball and came out victorious. What a fun season!! I was very blessed to get to know these boys!
Jake was awarded the rebounding award.Awesome season Jake! You made huge strides as a basketball player and I loved coaching you as well!!
