Christian Youth Theatre

This spring Kacie took a theatre class from an organization called CYT...Christian Youth Theatre. It was once a week for 2 hours for 10 weeks. She had a blast! On her last day they had a Showcase in which family and friends came to watch a couple of songs they had learned. If you are in Wichita here is the website: www.cytwichita.org

Not only do they learn about costumes, make-up etc. But each week they learn Godly characteristics.

More of Michigan

The last couple of trips to Michigan we stayed with Amanda, Ben's cousin and her husband Ryan. They are always very gracious hosts! Ryan and Amanda we cannot thank you enough for the hospitality! We have such a great time hanging out with you guys as well...any time you are up for a trip to Kansas you always have a place to stay!!

I think Kacie would have closed the dance floor down if we would have let her. It brought us a lot of joy watching her have so much fun!!!

Quick trip to Michigan

Kacie was very honored and excited about being a flower girl along with her cousin Addi in Autumn and Ryan's wedding. Autumn is the cousin of Ben.

The wedding was beautiful. From the weather to the bride to the arrangements, but most of all it was beautiful because they seem to understand the covenant relationship of husband and wife...to honor God. It was a perfect day!!

One of my dearest friends lives in Holland, Michigan. When we visit family we almost always take time to catch up with Dave, Marissa and Emma. This is Kacie and Emma, they are exactly 2 years apart.

Wichita Riverfest and Fit Day 2010

Every May Wichita has a 2 week festival. We try to get down at least once to get our funnel cake in for the year. We did eat well and had a fun time together!

Here is Jake with his good buddy Tabor. They had a great time at fit day (field day).

Tabor was an answer to my prayer...I had been praying all last school year and summer that Jake would meet a good friend in his class with the same Christian values as our own. Tabor transferred into our district and was in Jake's class this year. Him and his family are awesome!! And come to find out they had been praying for a friend for Tabor too. God is so wonderful in how he cares about the details of our children!!

Awana 2009-2010

Kacie finished her 2 years of cubbies and earned all of her patches for her memory verses. She is excited to move up to Sparks next year. Jake finished up his 3rd year of Sparks. He also earned all of his patches. He will move up to TNT next year.

Ben stepped out of his comfort zone and lead the Awana program at our church this year. He did a fantastic job! We are proud of you Commander Ben!!
