Many of you know that I have a brother and a sister who are stationed in Germany. Their families only live about 20 minutes a part. Well, with both families ending their tour in Germany we thought we should probably make a trip to see them. Otherwise we may never have such a great opportunity again.
On May 30th, 2011 we flew out of Dallas and saved quite a bit of money. So we drove down the day before and stayed in a hotel. It was all nice and stress free!!
A little story...we are about 3 hours into our drive to Dallas and Jake realizes that he leaves all of his DS games in his bedroom. He was crushed because he left his brand new one as well. He wasn't allowed to play it until our trip. He could have let not having the games ruin his day but he took the high road and said it will be waiting for him when he gets home. It is so wonderful seeing my son grow up!! Thank you Lord for the tough lesson!
