A Little Game...

This last March 18th Ben and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary. God has blessed us with a beautiful relationship. And we give Him all the glory for making it work!!

We went to Kansas City for the weekend and I forgot my camera...bummer! However we had a great time together. We just love to hang out! It is nice to have the uninterrupted time. The highlight was going to the KU v. K-State Big 12 championship game.

Easter Fun!

I have decided that Easter is one of my favorite holidays. The weather is getting warmer and everything is springing up with new life. I look all around and I am reminded of my new life in Christ. I also love the traditional activities that we do. From celebrating the Risen Christ, eating and hanging with family, decorating eggs to egg hunts.

Jump Rope For Heart

Jake was excited about raising money for Jump Rope For Heart this year. And many of our family stepped in and helped him to not only reach his goal but surpass it.

The school brought in a DJ and the kids had a blast jumping with the loud music playing. Here are a couple of pictures from the day...

Spring Project

In 2ND grade the teachers introduce to the students how to research and put a short paper together. This March, Jake had to put together a Leprechaun Trap. He first had to figure out what type of apparatus he wanted to make and then figure out what would attract a Leprechaun. This is his final product. The whole family got involved and we all had a good time with it!

We Found Our Dresses!

In May Addi and Kacie are going to be flower girls in Autumn's wedding. She is Ben's cousin. The girls are more than excited. Since Autumn lives in Michigan we went searching for dresses here and wouldn't you know the first one they tried on we fell in love. We will have them altered so that they fit a little better and we are going to have an orange, wide ribbon around the middle.

Spring Break

We had a great week together. We didn't do anything super exciting in terms of entertainment, however we spent a lot of time outside, playing with friends and hanging with cousins.

Rose Hill Hawks

We just finished our basketball season. How fun it was to coach this group of kids! We saw tremendous growth in each kid...that is what makes coaching so rewarding! I think Jake made some great strides this year in terms of knowing what to do in situations without having to think about it.
